Due to a lack of funds, the KP Health Card has been suspended once more.

Due to financial restrictions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is once again dealing with a suspension of medical care given via the Sehat Insaf card program.
New enrollments in the health card program have been temporarily suspended by the authorities, and this suspension is now in place. Emergency medical assistance will yet be offered, but only with prior consent.

Administrative sources cited the reasons for the stoppage and said that the healthcare services have been suspended because of a lack of funding. Notably, the health initiative’s seamless operation has been severely hampered by the startling Rs. 21 million that has gone underpaid for more than a year.

Officials also emphasized that the financial hardship has been made worse by the government’s distribution of a Rs. 1 million installment without the corresponding monies being received. Beneficiaries are now anxious about getting access to necessary medical treatment, and this circumstance emphasizes the urgent necessity for ongoing funding for the Sahat Insaf card program.
