The Punjab interim government recently approved the development of a new sub-campus for Punjab University in Daska. This decision was taken during the 32nd cabinet meeting in Gujranwala, which was presided over by temporary Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
The cabinet has also approved the development of a vegetable market and Guwala Colony in Gujranwala, as well as the installation of 24 additional classrooms for DPS Gujranwala.
In addition, the cabinet has agreed to create two model cemeteries in the Gujranwala region. Commissioner Naveed Haider Shirazi briefed the conference on numerous current public welfare programs in the region. The establishing of the minimum support price for wheat at Rs4,000 per maund was a key step.
