Punjab installs QR panic buttons at more than 4,500 Imambargahs During Muharram,

LAHORE (PASAR) — To improve security measures at Imambargahs during Muharram, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority has implemented QR panic button devices for the first time.

A state-of-the-art digital safety network will be installed in more than 4,500 Imambargahs throughout Punjab to guarantee prompt emergency aid, communication, and reaction.

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority introduced the QR panic button system as part of improved security measures during Muharram. The program, which has been acknowledged by the UN, was started under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s goal of a “Safe Punjab.”
