Bitcoin hits an all-time high for the second time in history.

WASHINGTON DC: Bitcoin has now reached a new all-time high, surpassing $108,000 for the second time in history, according to Coin Gecko statistics. Its current price is $107,847.

This milestone was attained on the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration, during which time the crypto space was quite busy in preparation of the event. Bitcoin is up 8% in the last 24 hours, and its seven-day gain is over 18%.

The new record price of $108,740 was set barely an hour earlier, indicating the fervent interest in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin initially broke above $108,000 on December 17, following the announcement that a pilot of a Bitcoin national reserve will be formed in the United States.

And other investors are very optimistic today, looking forward to the possibility of having another strategic Bitcoin reserve under Trump in the next November election.

He would potentially enable Washington, DC to have a cryptocurrency stockpile. This will also help Bitcoin gain recognition in mainstream, global finance arenas.

Ethereum rises 4.7% to $3,363. DOGE 0.5% = 377 dollars, and Solana: 262 dollars. Bitcoin now has a fully diluted market value of $2.14 trillion and 19,812 million coins in circulation, making it the most dominant cryptocurrency on the market.
