China is prepared to improve Pakistan’s overall strategic partnership, according to the envoy.

China has reaffirmed its commitment to working with Pakistan to boost overall strategic cooperation and hasten the development of a stronger community with a shared future for the two nations in the new era.

At the Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Pakistani Staff of the CPEC Projects 2022 in Islamabad, China’s ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong, stated that his nation wants to further promote business and investment between China and Pakistan.
The ambassador claims that China recently modified its COVID prevention and control regulations, removing limitations on the number of international flights and resuming inter-person exchanges for academic and professional purposes.

He claimed that this serves as a prime illustration of the fantastic potential for agricultural cooperation between our two nations.

The ambassador claimed that because CPEC is the BRI’s pilot project and a representation of China-Pakistan cooperation in the new era, it will always offer a wide stage for people to demonstrate their talents and realise personal goals.

He expressed hope that the workers from China and Pakistan would appreciate the opportunity, make positive contributions to the CPEC’s construction, and continue to fortify their enduring bond.

Pakistan has always been a top priority in China’s neighbour diplomacy, according to Pan Jiang, China’s Deputy DG National Development and Reforms Committee, and China views its relations with Pakistan from a strategic and long-term perspective.

According to him, the joint cooperation committee for the CPEC project will be fully utilised by the two or more parties, who also promised to promote the initiative more effectively and turn CPEC into an excellent example of Belt and Road cooperation.

Shields were later given out by chief guest and Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal to the best Pakistani workers on the CPEC projects.

He claimed that the Eastbay Expressway, which was constructed at the Gwadar port with Chinese assistance, has been in operation since June and has improved port connectivity while transporting 200,000 tonnes of fertiliser.

According to Nong Rong, Karot Hydropower, which can reduce 3.5 million metric tonnes of carbon emissions annually and provides cheap and clean electricity, started operating commercially in June on the basis of other CPEC projects.

The local coal was also used to launch the TEL and Nova power plants in Thar.

The Shanghai Electric Thartar power plant has connected to the national grid. Six model farms under the Pakistan-China Red Chilli Contract Farming Project are harvesting in the provinces of Punjab and Sindh, with a planned production of 700 tonnes of dried chilies.

He asserted that in light of the most recent amendment, Pakistani students could complete their education in China before returning to work on the CPEC projects, preserving the goodwill between our two nations.
