Cristiano Ronaldo is poised to retain his status as the highest-paid footballer in the world, with sources claiming that the Portuguese superstar will “earn €550,000 per day” under a new contract to extend his tenure with Al-Nassr.
The new Al-Nassr contract allegedly guarantees the 39-year-old forward €183 million per year, which equates to €15.25 million per month, €3.8 million per week, or €550,000 every day.
Ronaldo’s alleged new contract translates into even more fascinating amounts in Pakistani rupees, with the Portuguese earning a remarkable 53.07 billion per year, or Rs159.5 million every day.
The aforementioned economic insights, however, are only part of the deal; Al-Nassr has also offered the star forward a 5% ownership stake in order to demonstrate their confidence in his leadership and devotion to the squad.
The development occurred after it was claimed that Ronaldo had placed a condition for renewing his contract with Al-Nassr, requesting that the Saudi club upgrade their team in order to compete with the league’s best clubs, such as Al Hilal and Al Ittihad.
According to the worldwide media, Ronaldo wishes to surround himself with well-known figures. One of them may be Brazilian footballer Casemiro.
The defensive midfielder’s contract with Manchester United runs until next year, but the 32-year-old has not played a significant part for the club under coach Ruben Amorim.
According to reports, the Brazilian is no longer considered a significant player at United and may be released by the ailing Premier League team.
Ronaldo and Casemiro have appeared in 122 matches for Real Madrid and United, scoring a total of seven goals combined.
