Hajj

Hajj costs have dropped to more than Rs1 million.

The government’s actions have resulted in a considerable drop in Hajj expenditures as compared to the previous year.

Sources claim that a 40-day Hajj package has been priced at Rs1.05 million under the government program.

A shorter-duration Hajj package will cost Rs1.1 million each participant.

At first, it was projected that the Hajj would cost between Rs1.075 million and Rs1.175 million.

Following the agreements in Saudi Arabia, hotel costs were significantly decreased.

Instead of using room coolers in Mina, all Hajj pilgrims will have access to air conditioning.

These packages contain a sofa-cum-bed facility in place of mattresses and a jasom board in place of fabric tents.

The additional fees for hotel rooms with two beds have been lowered by Rs 74,000. Double bedrooms would now cost Rs185,000 instead of Rs259,000.

In addition, the additional fees for three bedrooms have been lowered from Rs86,500 to Rs63,000.

The final Hajj costs will be revealed in a few days by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
