LAHORE (Wed Desk) – The State Bank of Pakistan declared that the Rs 75 commemorative bank note released on Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day was lawful cash.
The bank stated that the note will be utilised as a means of exchange for all transactions in Pakistan.
On Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day, the State Bank of Pakistan issued a commemorative currency note of Rs 75, which was later declared usable for public lending.
However, most citizens, particularly shopkeepers, remain sceptical of this note.
On the occasion of Eid, the shops refused to take these notes. The SBP has emphasised that the currency notes would be accepted anywhere.
