RAWALPINDI (APP) – NLC and DP World have delivered over 1,000 containers between Pakistan and Bangladesh since October, when they launched the first direct shipping route between the two nations, a strategic effort that would considerably improve South Asian commerce and connectivity.
Container service between Karachi and Jable Ali will begin on January 13 with the first NLC vessel with a capacity of 1,100 TEUs, while the second vessel with a similar capacity will be introduced by the end of January, according to a press statement released here Wednesday.
Additionally, an edible oil vessel is scheduled for February 2025, broadening the scope of this collaborative project.
This strategic collaboration marks the start of a transformational period in regional commerce.
The partnership between NLC and regional partners is more than just a logistical operation; it is the foundation of a holistic plan aimed at boosting economic growth, fostering shared prosperity, and speeding progress throughout the area.
