Former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez asked the management to “not go for more experiments” following the Green Shirts’ defeat to New Zealand in the fourth T20I on Sunday at Mount Maunganui.
Hafeez took to X (previously Twitter) to appreciate Babar Azam’s experience playing in New Zealand’s harsh circumstances.
“New Zealand conditions suits Babar Azam to regain his confidence scoring big in the middle because he has better technique as batter to survive and can play his range of shots with good, consistent bounce and pace,” Hafeez pointed out.
Hafeez argued, “He should bat third in white-ball formats. No more experiments, please.”
