KARACHI : (APP) – As of May 26, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves was at $9,513 million, with the central bank holding $4,090.7 million.
The State Bank of Pakistan said in a statement that the central bank’s foreign reserves fell by $102 million to $4,090.7 million owing to external debt repayment in the week ending May 26, 2023.
Meanwhile, commercial banks’ net foreign reserves were at $5,422.3 million, according to the report.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the government in the previous week ending May 19, 2023 were $ 9,731.1m.
The central bank possessed $4,193 million in foreign reserves, while commercial banks held $5,538.1 million in net foreign reserves.
