KARACHI ( PASAR) : As of February 16, 2024, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves was at $13,097.8 million, with the State Bank holding $8,012.8 million.
According to a statement published by the State Bank of Pakistan on Thursday, the central bank’s foreign exchange reserves fell by $44 million to $8,012.8 million this week. This reduction was caused by debt repayments made throughout the time.
Additionally, commercial banks’ net foreign reserves was $5,085 million.
In comparison, the country’s entire liquid foreign reserves for the prior week, which ended on February 9, 2024, were $13,149.1 million. At the time, the State Bank had $8,056.5 million in foreign reserves, while commercial banks had a net reserve of $5,092.6.
