According to Santo Ficili, the group’s head for Italy, Stellantis (STLAM.MI), a contract has been agreed with Italian dealers to assist the automaker in delivering automobiles during a period of protracted logistical disruption in Europe.
According to the agreement, which was reached six months ago, dealers pick up automobiles directly from factories rather than having Stellantis, which is having trouble finding truck drivers due to the conflict in Ukraine.
According to the Stellantis management, the majority of drivers for auto transporters are from Ukraine, and their shortage is harming all European automakers.
